Flying Toblerone (Shenandoah Gamekeeper {Welsh} X Buffer Zone {Thoroughbred}) Foaled 2001. 13.2 Hands high.  Seal brown gelding.

He is the son of AHSA/USEF Grand National Champion Horse of the Year Shenandoah Gamekeeper--our beloved stallion.
Gamekeeper won 1991 National Welsh Pleasure Driving Champion with the WPCSA after being started in harness January 1991.

Gamekeeper passes his "let's do" attitude to his offspring.  As long as you communicate clearly, they are happy to oblige.

Toblerone has been sacked out, line driven, broke to saddle, jumps with flying lead changes, is calm on trailers, and
loads readily and easily.

He has a solid temperament and was ridden by children under saddle when still an intact stallion at the age of 4.
He has good rear end engagement.  He has grown up on our mountain top farm in large pastures ambling over ditches,
stone walls, logs, streams, and swimming in the ponds.  He has been ridden quietly in light traffic.
He matches his half-sister Sarissa (also a Welsh Thoroughbred cross).

Toblerone

Toblerone jumping with Leslie last week of June 2010.  (Leslie graduated law school in May)  This is the first time Toblerone had been ridden in .... over a year, and Leslie's first jumping day of riding.  They were both in fine form for being so "rusty."  Toblerone is an uncomplicated good guy.

Flying Sarissa (Anglo Arab X Thoroughbred) Foaled 2006. Seal Brown mare.  She has been worked with extensively, learning to lunge to voice commands (walk, walk-on, trot, whoa, stand) and to line-drive by Dr. Brenda Seery.   Sarissa is so eager to please and is an absolute sweet-heart.   She is started under saddle.

Sarissa's sire is Leslie's endurance stallion Flying Nosferatu aka Jet who raced and won two endurance races a 30 mile and a 25 mile.  They finished both races 12 odd minutes ahead of the pack.

Magus is a solidly built muscled Section A Gelding. He has gorgeous action at the trot--flat kneed with great reach. When sacked out, his natural tendency was to slow rather than bolt or buck. Even cranking it up levels, he still slows becoming thoughtful and realizing that if he slows the chaos slows as well. He'll make a safe driving pony. He is already broke to saddle by Leslie.
